Meet your guide, Phoenix Harris

Phoenix is the owner and head guide of High Country Outfitters. Born in Craig, Colorado, he grew up fishing alongside his grandfather, learning to read water, weather and fish behavior from an early age. Winters meant ice fishing at Avery Reservoir, and summers meant hiking into the alpine to catch wild brook trout.

Today Phoenix shares that lifelong passion through guided trips for anglers of every level, from first-timers drilling their first hole to experienced anglers after a trophy. Expect patient instruction, quality gear and a genuine love of the outdoors.
